Fundraising Zoom Quiz from GEEKS Ltd

At the beginning of the year, Sutton Night Watch met with local business Geeks Ltd as they contacted to say they had nominated us as their chosen charity for 2020. We were very grateful for the offer of support.

Fast forward to May 2020 & as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, the Geeks Charity Club organised the company’s first Virtual Pub Quiz in order to raise money for the official charity of the year for 2020, Sutton Night Watch.

Geeks’ CEO, Somayeh Aghnia said “A strong bond with the local community is really important for Geeks – not only because we strive to be a responsible and caring business but because we want to make sure our employees have the opportunity to give, care and develop as a team. Sutton Night Watch is an amazing charity, their work supporting homeless people is vital and very appreciated. The quiz night was a great success and fun was had all round”.

Thanks to generous donations by the Geeks team, they raised a total of £145 for the charity.
