Sutton Night Watch were recently contacted by a local Costume Maker called Heather Filby, who has made costumes for SIX – The Musical in the Westend, TK Max’s Christmas Advert 2019, Phantom of the Opera and most recently (before the Coronavirus pandemic) Sky Tv’s, Britannia, Series 3.
Since Lockdown she has been making cushion covers and had started embroidering Art Pieces.
Heather had also taken to creating beautifully designed masks for Family and Friends; which her mother convinced her to Post onto Facebook.
This led to her being overwhelmed with requests for custom designed masks.
Sewing as quickly as she possibly can, she has decided to donate £1 per mask to Sutton Night Watch; Chosen as it’s a very local charity that supports those in a situation that could affect anyone at any time – homelessness.
Due to Heather being a freelancer, she currently slips through the government support gaps and is not likely to receive much in government support, but she is an amazingly positive lady and said to us “I am lucky enough to have a safe home, even though I can’t pay my usual bills, I feel I am luckier than many, I am very happy to be able to support Sutton Night Watch in this small way”.
They come in 3 Sizes – Adult, Child Large and Child Small.
Fabrics are as shown in this Facebook Link or in image above.
They are machine washable.
Happy to do free local (contact-free) delivery.
£3 each (£1 from each mask is donated to Sutton Night Watch).
Face masks are available from THIS FACEBOOK LINK & her other items are available from the link below.
