Sutton Night Watch are currently supporting a young family who have, through no fault of their own, become homeless & are struggling in incredibly unsuitable temporary accommodation.
The mother is looking after 2 youngsters, whilst pregnant & the stress of all of the travel daily, to & from children’s schools, which are now miles from her temporary room is causing intense anxiety for her.
Sadly, as many find, the Local Authority is unable to help & the temporary accommodation will soon come to an end.
SNW have made enquiries & secured funding for her deposit for a 2-3 bed property, she is also able to fund her new home via universal credit – which will be paid directly to the landlord.
This is such a delicate, yet urgent situation, we are putting this story out to see if any of our amazing supporters can help with a referral or an idea of accommodation in the Epsom/Sutton area that would be suitable.
